visa bulleting indicates what is going to happen to EB3-I for 2009-10 year, in next 3-4 months it will again become U, with date around Nov'01, and that's it, unless CIR get passed (don't know when........) with some urgently needed fix for EB category, it is hopeless atleast for EB3-I folks

Our Chinese friends are also posting this at Chinese grocery store, on websites and also at local news forums.

We have received reports that Sen. Cornyn will be introducing a bill called the SKIL (Securing Knowledge Innovation and Leadership) bill on May 1st 2006. As can be guessed from the title, this bill has lots of pro-legal immigration clauses. We will make the details that we have received public once we get the permission to do so.
Though Immigration Voice is currently focussing on the Comprehensive Immigration Bill as that is hot right now, we are also closely following the PACE and SKIL bills to try and ensure that high-skilled legal immigrants can make the best of it.

Dear all,
I was wondering if any one on this forum has filed his/her AOS with NSC and their case will be transferred to TSC (due to I140 approved from TSC) and has got the filing receipts yet?
My application (based on lawyer's email) should have reached NSC on July 2nd, but haven't got the checks cashed yet or got the receipts yet...
I was wondering that my case will most likely be transferred to TSC from NSC. I am thinking lot of guys are in same situation as me, but have you guys received any receipt yet?

Got the receipts for 485 applied on July 2nd to NSC. NSC--> TSC transfer. Notice date of 8/23.

I selected following options for infopass appointment.
You need Service on a case that has already been filed -->Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.
And I carried Receipts for 485,765 and 131 for myself and my wife (of course photo ID).

Well, it goes beyond that. This is a "complicated story with no sub titles".
IV website is a board where people of all kinds visit and there is no control over stuff. Just go to any blog site - we see 100 rants and crazy comments as against a few wise talk.
I guess we have to live with it and keep pushing people. Sometimes loud and sometimes gently.
My friend, it is to "push the people" that I am saying all this. How best can we push? Through word of mouth, or thru full campaign?
Another idea: How about restructuring the forums?
In the home page, we promote only those discussions that are important to all, like advocacy.
In next tab, we take on the discussions that are based on individual problems
And all else, can go to the third tab
Also on home page, the following items (just some examples of general interest matter):
- Advocacy day. Donations received vs required.
- Big red button: Donate
- Some links to recent news items on immigration
Home page should have text content that introduces IV, its activities, and a small lecture on why skilled immigration is important

You have still not answered my question - where did you get the idea that I am here self imposing high standards? You have talked about everything else but that. So you have decided to take refuge by not answering the main reason why I said you are making accusations.
And just to prove that you are not off the mark, you are confusing everyone else who is reading the posts, between being on the right side morally and having a high standard in general! Again, get this into your head before you start typing more nonsense.

I just visited last month. I stayed there for 6 weeks...
Agree that economy is booking but....
(1) too much pollution.
(2) No infrastructure to handle cars and two wheeleers.
(3) too much mosquito even in winter/summer. I do not know what will happen in rainy days.
(4) prices for every item have gone up by 3X..Most of the item I am not able to justify the rise. The quality of the product has not gone up.
(5) easy to set up business..get house...get car but tough to drive peacefully...need to pray god every morning so that we come back home with 2 hands and 2 legs and unbroken body parts.
(6) Club culture is booming too...so if you have daughter who is teen then need to check by that angle too.
Just my two cents....

No mine did not say that for myself or my husband. It just said approval notice sent. It still says the same thing it has never changed or been updated. It could be there system- who knows! I hope you get yours soon! Keep me updated.
It says approval notice sent? Do they send an approval for 765/EAD? I thought they would just send the card directly? Anyway, my spouse's ead says card in production and you should get it in 30days. Mine still says case recevied on Aug 31 and notice mailed out... But LUD on both applications is today...Will keep you posted...

There is no wrong doing by DOS by changing the VB, but the timing is wrong. They should have changed it as soon as they released it or else atleast by 25th or 26th to prevent some damage.
Totally agree.. Can you tell which law has been broken by them.
They didnt break a single law.
USCIS broke a law last month by not accepting the EB3 Other workers, even when the bulletin said that the numbers were avaible.
But this time , they just did something morally wrong ( that 2 i am not sure, based upon what i have read so far, which are more or less speculations)
DOS updated the bulletin , for which they have full legal rights,
and USCIS just follwed it, No Law was broken,atleast i cant see, which law was broken.
If you go for a lawsuit , you would get those damages back, but as i said USCIS being a fees funded organisation, its will come back to you.
