My 140 was pending in TSC since early feb. It got approved on Aug 3rd. My 485 app was receipted on the same date from TSC. So, app was transferred from NSC-> TSC (filed in NSC on June 25th).
So, folks, hold on - you will get receipted soon.

We'll do these things for common/generic issues like visa recapture,not counting dependents visas,removing per country quota.
#1.EB3s will start contributing , let's say $100 Each
#2.EB2s will match the amount in #1
#3.GC holders(Both EB2&EB3 - IV members) will contribute $250 to help their IV friends.

I think we should have a poll for DC rally and it should be on IV home page so that every visitor know about it and poll.
There are a lot of people in DC like me. The permissions depend on which part of DC we want to rally.
Do we want to rally around the capitol meet congressmen and senators in the immigration sub committee?
Do we want to go to offices of USCIS and DOS and request to consider the first VB?
As some one has said, there has to be a poll on the home page and if we have to tip off media ahead.

Got a CRIS Notification for EAD Card PRODUCTION dated Sept 2nd for my wife.
EAD receipt Dat: July 23rd
Card Production date: Sept 2nd
They say it will take 30days to get in the mail..
No idea whether it really takes 30 days or less so I can verify actual validity of the EAD card !
I don't know what worked..mailed TSC a letter to expediate.. Also emailed Local Senator and Congressman to expediate my spouse's EAD renewal.

The applications recrived at TEXAS on 1st JUN started receiving recepit notices. One of my friends checks got cleared today. :confused: As per my analysys nebraska had a 6 day lag till Jan 1st. Lets see.

Dear Mehul...
I wish and pray that God gives strength to you and your family in this difficult situation. And as fellow IV'ns have mentioned, Prayer and Faith in Life/Almighty can do wonders. By the attitude in your note, I do feel you have that ... and somehow I have a feeling things will be fine for you and your family.
As suggested by many people, if possible, please do get a 2nd opinion from a renowned doctor in India. And do start Yoga/Pranayam. Meditation and proper breathing exercise have helped folks with very serious conditions and these are surely worth trying.
And for your GC, I would second the suggestions of writing to senator and USCIS.
Your family should be your reason to continue to have faith and NOT give up...

it is not to prevent 'de-magnetization' but to prevent rfid communication. All new passport and other govt id 'cards' ship with rfid chip in them which contains encrypted biometrics info. Since rfid info can be read even 10 meters away with right equipment, it is better to put it in a metallic sleeve (creating a Faraday cage) to prevent anyone from sniffing then biometrics info.

My checks cashed. Mailed I485-EB2, EAD, AP on June 29th, reached USCIS - NSC on July 2nd 10:25 am by Fedex. Checks cashed on 8/3 - Still not be able to see the back side of the image for RD etc. My I-140 was approved last year from TSC.
I was expecting my case to be transfered rom NSC to TSC!!?? also NO lud on I-140 case so far.

My prayers are with you, man. Do not lose hope and fight for your life! You condition fits a reason for expedite processing. Fax expedited request to the service center where your I-485s are pending. Attach supporting documents. Call the USCIS customer service, they will tell you all the details, including fax number for this.

I had taken infopass and officer sent an email to TSC enquiring about current status. Today, I got snail mail reply..
